Tool #3

The first image generator or mushup I used was animoto.com. This website is incredible to create short videos which I could use with my students to learn about different topics. For example the clock that I posted could help in teaching them about the direction the handles of the clock go. The second image generator I used is from Bubblr.com and is a slide show of pictures of vegetables. I enjoy using pictures because my students are mostly visual learners and in Bubblr you can pair words with pictures which is a great way to teach them to recognize words and objects.

Tool #2

Building an online education community it is an awesome idea because it allows us to share our knowledge and ideas with other teachers and people that we don't see on a daily basis. As well it is a great idea to share with our students to get to know their thoughts and opinions about topics that we can present to to them. Finally is a great way to share our believes and ideas with other people.

The point that stood out the most to me was hearing the other people opinions with respect no matter what the topic is or you being in disagreement with that person. Also it stood out to me how we can use our blog to teach other people.

I believe I am going to comment on different blogs probably more than 5 and not always the same 5, from wise and knowledgeable teachers.

my first blog

Tool #1

Finally getting started. I would say that beginning with the blog was a challenge but I'm glad I figure it out. I am very excited with the idea of blogging with other teachers. I believe a blog can be very helpful. We are going to be able to learn from each other and share ideas that will benefit our students.
